Habitans Lettings has completed the acquisition of long-standing Newcastle-under-Lyme estate agency, Heywoods.
Building on the success of Habitans Lettings, which has been trading for just two years, Managing Director Alistair Trippett wanted to grow the business – and with organic growth currently slow in the market, he made the decision to acquire.
Alistair said: “The opportunity to purchase a 140-year-old brand in Heywoods presented itself and, hand on heart, this was the business I passionately wanted to buy.
“Heywoods has a rich history and is deeply ingrained in the community. Their fantastic reputation is something I want to be associated with, and the acquisition opportunity came along at exactly the right moment.
“It’s a dream deal for us!”
Alistair is now looking forward to adding additional support and services to Heywoods’ existing offering, building on their property marketing services and offering top-class support for customers throughout their property journey.
