Small businesses have been invited to take advantage of free training courses designed to help upskill workforces.
The courses offered by Staffordshire University are available to Staffordshire-based businesses with fewer than 250 employees.
They cover everything from promoting positive work culture and boosting business profits to programming in Python and saving a life with CPR.
Phil O’Neill, Development Manager for Knowledge and Exchange at the university, said: “This is a great opportunity for businesses to engage with university education in a fully funded manor and to gain a competitive edge by upskilling their workforce.”
Upcoming courses are:
- 26 January – Digital Entrepreneurship
- 1 February – Managing, Leadership & Performance
- 2 February – Boosting Business Profits Through Client Acquisition
- 7 February – CPR & Defibrillator Awareness
- 7 February – Introduction to Project Management
- 7 February – Introduction to Python Programming
- 9 February – Artificial Intelligence Overview
- 9 February – Digital Transformation
- 22 February – Digital Marketing
The courses vary in length from short masterclasses to several weeks and are a mixture of on-campus, online or hybrid learning.
