A property maintenance contractor has won three “significant” hospital-based contracts.
Novus Property Solutions, based in Stoke-on-Trent, has recently completed external works for Alder Hey Children’s NHS Foundation Trust, in Liverpool, one of the largest children’s hospitals in Europe.
Works included the excavation and installation of new drainage connections, as well as the integration of new mechanical and electrical systems over a one-month period.
Also in the North West, Novus has secured an internal refurbishment contract to work across nine site buildings at Lancashire Teaching Hospital in Preston.
The firm has also won a contract at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, which will be split into two phases and include a 30-week full refurbishment of the on-site robot pharmacy.
Chris Murphy, Novus’ Head of Operations, said: “We’re proud to have been awarded this latest series of prestigious contracts across the healthcare sector thanks to our reputation for producing quality results under the unique challenges of working in live hospital environments.”
Family-owned Novus, headquartered at Festival Park, was formed in 2013 after the restructure of the Seddon Group and has over 780 staff in 21 offices across the UK.
