Retail expert Dee Set Group has pledged to invest £7 million into data and technology over the next two years.
The company, headquartered in Stoke-on-Trent, works with retailers and brands to help them drive growth. Services include distribution, fulfilment, merchandising and manufacturing.
It has just extended a partnership with Hallmark, which will see all of the greeting card firm’s field merchandising operations transferred over to Dee Set Group in a bid to increase its reach within the UK market.
Dee Set Group has also just announced it is managing the merchandising for Freshpet during a trial of their pet food in 10 Sainsbury’s stores.
It is also on the look out for more staff across a series of roles all over the country. They include a Service Desk Engineer, Supply Chain Planner and Retail Manager all based in Stoke-on-Trent as well as home-based Senior National Account Managers.
To date, Dee Set Group has invested £10 million of profits into data and technology before the new pledged sum
CEO Greg Phillips, pictured above, said: “As the UK’s leading retail service provider, the integration of Hallmark’s field marketing team not only cements our position as sector leaders, but also ensures that Dee Set Group expands and brings new, innovative technology to the retail world. Our core team of field merchandisers will have a constant, high quality level of service delivery for all our clients.”
Dee Set Group is based on Victoria Road, in Fenton, and employs around 3,000 people across the group, claiming to have staff within 10 miles of 97 per cent of stores in the UK. Other brands it has worked with include Kelloggs, Asda, B&Q, Tommee Tippee, Innocent and Nivea.
