Law firm’s new office will lead to job opportunities

Expanding law practice Beeston Shenton is opening a new office in the south of Staffordshire to deal with a demand in new residential and business property sales.

The purpose-built office at Dunston Business Village, Penkridge, will be up and running this month and house a 10-strong property and conveyancing team as well as providing a meeting space for other solicitors and clients.

The distinctive wood-build structure, above in progress, will feature a dedicated meeting room as well as office space. And as the demand for the legal expertise grows the firm has pledged there will be opportunities to expand the workforce.

Beeston Shenton, who were set up in 2006 and have been in business 17 years and employ 30 people, have their head office in Newcastle-under-Lyme. They specialise in Family Law, Residential Property (including new-builds), Wills and Probate, Litigation, Personal injury and Sports Law.

As part of the expansion, they have also opened a shared meeting room in Stone – based at the AED Donate offices on Stone Business Park – and meeting rooms in Alsager and Knutsford, Cheshire, to extend the company’s geographical reach.

Family Lawyer Julie Cox said: “The new office and meeting rooms give us the opportunity to expand our services and make it more convenient for clients to see a solicitor face-to-face wherever they live in Staffordshire or Cheshire.

“The new office at Penkridge replaces a temporary location we have been using. Ten members of our property and conveyancing team will be based there permanently but it will also be used by solicitors from our other areas of expertise.”

“The high volume of new builds and property sales since the emergence from Covid-19 means that the conveyancing arm is in high demand, which is why the team will have a large permanent presence in Penkridge.

“Given the expanding nature of that side of the business there will be job opportunities to join the team in the near future too.”

  • To coincide with the office opening, Beeston Shenton are offering Daily Focus readers a special offer. Anyone calling the practice for legal assistance who quotes #DF will be entitled to fixed fee or hourly rate reduction on their legal costs. The practice can be contacted on 01782 662424.
