Specialist certification will help protect against cyber threats

1 min read

A leading provider of cybersecurity solutions is now providing specialist certification to help local businesses safeguard against digital attacks.

Stoke-on-Trent-based SYTECH is offering Cyber Essentials a UK government-backed program that helps organisations protect themselves from cyber threats.

As the number of cyber attacks continues to rise, it is seen as more and more vital that businesses take proactive steps to protect themselves and their customers’ data.

Cyber Essentials certification helps organisations to implement basic security controls that can significantly reduce their risk.

“Ensuring that businesses in our community are protected from cyber threats is a top priority for us,” said Mark Wilshaw, Cyber Security Services Manager at SYTECH.

“By offering Cyber Essentials certification, we can help local businesses implement the necessary security controls to protect their sensitive data and maintain the trust of their customers.”

The Cyber Essentials certification process involves a self-assessment questionnaire. Once certified, businesses will receive a Cyber Essentials certificate and be listed on the Cyber Essentials directory, demonstrating their commitment to cybersecurity best practices.
