Businesses invited to have their say at pedestrianisation workshop

1 min read

Business owners in Lichfield have been invited to attend a rearranged workshop to discuss the pedestrianisation of the city centre.

The workshop with Lichfield District Council’s Chief Executive Simon Fletcher will take place at Darwin Hall, on Heathcot Place, on Monday, 17 April.

Blue Badge holders are also welcome to attend.

The pedestrianisation, which is being trialled through an experimental Traffic Regulation Order, is being introduced to make the city centre safer for shoppers, workers and visitors, to reduce air pollution and to promote sustainable travel.

The event will give people the chance to share ideas and suggestions for any possible refinements to the scheme.

Two sessions will be held – one between 5pm and 6.15pm and the other between 6.30pm and 7.45pm.

Representatives for blue badge holders and city centre businesses are asked to register as soon as possible via this link
