Rydal expanding again thanks to growth from move into the county

1 min read

Telecommunications and IT services firm Rydal Group has expanded its Staffordshire operations with a new office base.

The company moved into the county and boosted its position in the managed IT sector last year by acquiring service provider BrokenStones, based in Lichfield.

Staff and operations continued to be based at Three Spires House, on Station Road, but have now relocated to premises three times bigger in size, in Wade Street, following a period of growth.

Group Managing Director Steffan Dancy, pictured above, said: “Staffordshire is a key area for us and complements our location in the East Midlands by serving the West Midlands.

“We had some clients and sale reps working remotely in the county before the acquisition but that represented our first physical presence in Staffordshire.

“BrokenStones has grown over 50 per cent since Rydal Group completed the acquisition.

“Growth is driven by group expertise benefiting the clients such as our VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) offering.”

Rydal Group is based in Peterborough but has clients across the UK, Europe and US. It started out as a communications company but has made several acquisitions in recent years to branch out into IT services and cyber security.
