Specialist science, technical and engineering PR agency Stone Junction has been listed in Campaign magazine’s best places to work list.
The company, which is headquartered in Stafford, has appeared in the list for the first time and is the only Staffordshire agency to feature this year.
The competition is open to organisations across advertising, media, digital, design, production and PR, as well as marketing divisions and departments of larger organisations.
It is designed to profile the 100 most desirable employers, who offer healthy and enjoyable workplaces.
The process of shortlisting includes a two-stage assessment by an independent research company, Best Companies Group (BCG), which takes place after businesses provide written information about benefits, policies and practices.
Members of each company’s team are invited to complete a confidential questionnaire on workplace culture and this forms a key part of the judge’s decision making.
Stone Junction scored highly in the benefits and support section of the magazine’s criteria, thanks to a host of offerings including everything from duvet days to annual bonus and mental health support to the opportunity to go on sabbatical.
“It’s testament to our fantastic team that we’ve been ranked in the 100 best places to work in marketing, advertising and PR this year,” explained Leah Elston-Thompson, one of Stone Junction’s account directors and part of its five person leadership team.
“Part of our mission is to be the best PR agency to work at — full stop and this is evidence that we are genuinely building towards that.”
