Bee Active has appointed an Early Years Manager at its first nursery.
Daily Focus reported last month that the school holiday club provider had acquired Raindrops Nursery, which had two settings in Knypersley, near Biddulph.
Tracy Bould has now been taken on and will be responsible for overseeing the Early Years provision at Raindrops, now known as Bee Active Childcare.
Currently an EYFS lead for a nursery and reception class in a primary school, Tracy has two decades of experience in teaching and has extensive training in a variety of phonics, mathematics and speech and language schemes.
“We are thrilled to have Tracy join us as the Early Years Manager from August,” said Ben Mills, Director of Bee Active Childcare, pictured above with children from the nursery.
“Her expertise and experience in EYFS education aligns perfectly with our values and commitment to providing an excellent learning environment for our children.”
Tracy said: “I am excited to join Bee Active Childcare and I really believe in the vision and ethos of the company.
“I’m passionate about working alongside parents to ensure that every child reaches their full potential and they feel like they can achieve anything.”
Bee Active said at the time of the acquisition that it planned to improve the offering to children and parents.
The company has already brought in an early years consultant to enhance educational practices, has introduced physical activity sessions and is reviewing food and drink offerings to children.
