From The Stork Bespoke Baby delivering pop-up shop with aim to open second permanent store

A family-owned baby shop is expanding to open in a second location – with the hope of it becoming a permanent home for the brand.

From The Stork Bespoke Baby was set up by Steph and Andrew Lane two years ago after they struggled to find high-quality baby products for their daughter without having to go online.

Their shop at The Trentham Estate sells clothing, teddies, toys and other essentials, with a same-day free personalisation service.

The pair, pictured below, are now preparing to open a pop-up shop at Affinity Staffordshire, which will be running for four weeks, but Andrew hopes it will lead to a permanent shop in the outlet mall in Talke.

He said: “The pop-up shop is a trial but, if it’s successful, we’ll open our second branch of From The Stork Bespoke Baby in the same unit.

“Affinity Staffordshire has never had a baby ship, but it is very family-focused so the demographic is there.

“Our goal has always been to provide high-quality products not available on every high street, and we’ll continue to do that with this second location.”

From The Stork Bespoke Baby is going into unit 25, next door to Ministry of Design and opposite the new Saltrock store.

It launches on 15 May and will be open seven days a week, offering a wider variety of products than its current shop.

There will be special discounts, giveaways and prizes upon opening.

The pop-up shop will be staffed by employees of the Trentham branch but four to six jobs could be created if the store sets up a permanent Affinity Staffordshire base.

The Trentham shop will continue to operate as normal.
