The location of Titanic Brewery’s latest café bar has been revealed – and will begin welcoming customers in Lichfield this summer.
Daily Focus reported in February that the Stoke-on-Trent-based brewery was to open a new venue this year, but the location was being kept under wraps.
The new café bar will be the eighth one managed by Titanic Brewery, and their first venue to open in Lichfield.
It is due to launch at a base just off Yoxall Way, in Streethay, in July and will create 30 new jobs.
“Our bod café bars are exciting, vibrant places where everyone can come together in one space,” said Jonathan Wright, Titanic’s Head of Retail.
“We’ve been wanting to bring this concept to Lichfield for some time, and we cannot wait to share it with everyone this summer.”
Titanic’s café bar concept offers customers everything from coffee and cake to craft beers and wines.
The new bod will be open from morning until late.
Jonathan added: “People are sometimes surprised that a traditional ale brewery operates café bars.
“And whilst they may look a little different, and feature things like locally roasted coffee and fresh cakes prepared on-site, they also share a lot of the same community-driven values and commitments that our pubs have, not to mention a fantastic range of beers, ciders, wines and spirits.”
Sustainability will be a key focus, with many of the products and ingredients sourced locally from Staffordshire. Customers at bod can also get a 50p discount on hot drinks if they bring their own reusable travel cup.
As well as operating bod café bars, Titanic Brewery also has eight pubs across Staffordshire and also further afield.
