Clothing brand Seasalt is set to open a new shop at The Trentham Estate, creating eight jobs.
The store will open on Saturday, 24 June and will be located within the tourist attraction’s shopping village selling womenswear, accessories and a new menswear collection.
It is the brand’s second shop in Staffordshire, with one already in Lichfield.
But the Trentham shop, which has 157 square foot of floorspace, is said to represent the “next generation of retail design” for Seasalt, taking a tangible step forward with its sustainable credentials and reducing its carbon footprint.
The store uses UK-sourced materials to create versatile furniture and fittings that can be moved, reused, and repurposed. All fixtures and fittings have been chosen for their sustainable features and with longevity and flexibility in mind.
“We are delighted to bring the spirit of Cornwall to Trentham Shopping Village,” said Richie Edwards, Director of Retail for Seasalt Cornwall.
“With its beautiful surroundings and vibrant atmosphere, Trentham provides the perfect backdrop for our brand.
“We look forward to sharing our love for the Cornish coast and providing a delightful shopping experience to the local community.”
Shoppers have been promised lots of treats and giveaways for the opening day, including live entertainment and gift boxes for the first 30 people in the queue.
The Trentham Estate has seen several new names arrive in recent months, with the opening of a hugely popular Greek bakery-come-taverna, a Weird Fish clothing store, a new shop for dogs and its Millets store has been turned into an express-style Go Outdoors.
