Medi-spa28, a Care Quality Commission Medical Aesthetics and Skincare Clinic based in Stafford, has received approval from Stafford Borough Council to expand its services by adding an indoor and outdoor Day Spa facility.

The clinic, located in a Grade II Listed Building on Eastgate Street, aims to have the new spa operational by November 2023.

The Day Spa will feature a vitality/jacuzzi pool, a well-being suite complete with a sauna and steam room as well as additional relaxation suites.

Barbara Pointon, Clinic Founder and Director, said: “With a vision of combining health, hospitality and well-being under one roof, Medi-spa28 will provide the people of Stafford and beyond with exceptional services right in the heart of the town.

“This is not the usual spa facility. Not only will we offer our current award-winning services, but also a range of holistic health, hospitality, and well-being treatments in a tranquil and private setting.”

This expansion means that in addition to their existing offerings, including medical grade skincare and aesthetics treatments, beauty treatments, as well as the services of a visiting Specialist Menopause G.P and Relationship Counsellor, the clinic will now boast a licensed Day Spa facility.

“I believe that we are one of the only centres nationally to incorporate regular beauty treatments with high-end spa treatments, medical grade skincare and our laser and mechanical treatments”, Barbara added.

“I can’t wait until the spa is up and running and to welcome our clients through the doors!”
The building also houses a 14-seater conference room that has proven popular for corporate away days which will continue to be available for private bookings.
