Holdcroft Motor Group has announced a partnership deal with South Korean car brand Genesis

The Stoke-on-Trent-based business will showcase Genesis Motor Europe cars across its numerous dealerships in the North-West.

Genesis is the luxury vehicle division of the Hyundai Motor Company

Holdcroft is set to introduce the brand in 2024, supporting the Genesis retail sales operation with test drives, sales and service operations.

The collaboration with Genesis is an important milestone for Holdcroft Group, which opened its first dealership in Hanley in 1966.

The Genesis brand arrived in the UK two years ago, offering premium, Korean-designed cars with a luxury experience.

All-new Genesis vehicles will be pure electric from 2025.

Chris Greenhall, Managing Director, said: “Welcome to the world of luxury and refinement as the Holdcroft Motor Group proudly introduces the prestigious Korean car brand, Genesis, to our portfolio and esteemed customers.

“We embark on this journey with a commitment to elevate the sales experience to unparalleled heights, embracing our customer-centric approach.

“With utmost hospitality, we invite our customers to explore the epitome of automotive excellence and as Genesis would describe in Korean ‘son-nim’, more than a customer – our cherished guests.”

Lawrence Hamilton, Managing Director, Genesis Motor Europe, said: “This is an exciting milestone for Genesis in the UK.  Earlier this year, we announced we would be expanding the Genesis footprint and we are delighted to now have Holdcroft on board who share our vision for the future.

“With Holdcroft now officially part of the Genesis family from the start of 2024, it means we can deliver our unique Korean customer service directly to our new and existing customers in Manchester and Liverpool.”
