Kenect Recruitment gains national accolade for high-achieving business model

1 min read

A Burton-on-Trent recruitment agency has scooped a top award – for the second year running.

Kenect Recruitment was acclaimed as Transport and Industrial Recruitment Agency of the Year 2023 in SME News’ UK Enterprise Awards

The accolade reflects outstanding national reviews from clients and candidates as well as feedback from customers on various other review platforms such as google, indeed, and Trustpilot.

The judges in the awards, which are held online, also recognised Kenect’s unique business model which offers customers a more streamlined approach to working with a recruitment agency.

The agency’s online registrations offer immediate identification approval and place candidates securely within a database that sorts by skillset best suited jobs.

Clients’ positions are then fulfilled more quickly while candidates get the job they are seeking quicker.

Kenect won exactly the same award in 2022 and were automatically re-submitted as previous winners.

Kenect’s Founding Partner and Managing Director Jason Whittenham said: “It’s fantastic to be recognised again by the amazing SME Enterprise Awards. Last year we won the category Transport and Industrial Recruitment Agency of the Year 2022 which was very humbling.

“Now to win again and retain this award in 2023 is brilliant. It shows our business is being recognised on high levels and for that we are much appreciative.

“The aim of our business is to make it as streamlined and user friendly as possible for both the job seeker and client and we are very happy this is being acknowledged.”

Kenect, which has 78 staff members made up of franchisees and employees, operates nationwide with transport, industrial and commercial divisions.

It offers temporary and permanent staffing solutions to clients.
