Tourism businesses in East Staffordshire to benefit from new funding

1 min read

A new fund has been launched to support attractions and help event organisers entice visitors to part of Staffordshire.

East Staffordshire Borough Council’s Tourism Development Fund is open to bids of up to £3,000 to help support new projects, events, services or marketing campaigns which will help attract more visitors to the Borough.

Councillor Paul Walker, Cabinet Member for Tourism and Cultural Development, said: “The Tourism Development Fund is just one of many steps the Council is taking to increase the Borough’s tourism.

“I hope that all eligible organisations apply for the fund and take full advantage of the support available.”

More information is available via the council’s new tourism website, which can be found here
