Two new footwear and outdoor fashion shops have opened at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands in Cannock.
Merrell and Saucony are both brands from Wolverine Worldwide, global marketer of branded footwear, apparel and accessories.
Jobs have been created at the stores, with store assistants, a store manager and assistant manager working across both shops.
The posts have been advertised as part of Wolverine Worldwide’s “Sweaty Betty” store portfolio.
Merrell, launched in 1981 by the Rossignol ski company, specialises in outdoor footwear and clothing.
After initially supplying technical hiking boots it now offers colourful walking shoes together with clothing for men, women and children.
Saucony, founded in 1898, caters for male and female running enthusiasts across a range of ages, selling high performance running shoes and running apparel.
Known as the “Original Running Brand,” it creates innovative technical and lifestyle footwear.
Already in place at the designer outlet since July is Sole Trader, the footwear shop selling Barbour, Crocs, UGG and Timberland.
David Jackson, centre manager at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands, said: “The arrival of three exceptional new brands – Merrell, Saucony and Sole Trader – provides a wide range of premium footwear and fashion options for our guests.
“We have stores for people who love to explore the great outdoors and for those who love to shop their favourite international brands at up to 60 per cent off.”
The new arrivals bring the total number of stores open at the retail park to 68.
McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands is just a five minute walk from Cannock Train Station.
