Several Staffordshire firms are hoping for success at the upcoming 2023 CIPR PRide Midlands awards.
Stafford-based technical PR agency Stone Junction is hoping to secure the title of PR Consultancy of the Year, which it has held for four out of the last five years.
It has also been shortlisted in three other categories – Corporate and Business Communications Campaign, Best Long-Term Campaign and the Environmental Campaign, a new category for this year.
Stone Junction, which was recently named among the best places to work in the UK, hopes to grow its roster of cleantech clients by winning the Environmental Campaign award for its work with global engineering company WEG.
“Having built a portfolio of science, technology, engineering and manufacturing (STEM) clients over the last decade, we want to continue strengthening our presence in the CleanTech sector, to build awareness of the important issues facing society,” said Richard Stone, founder and managing director of Stone Junction.
“Being shortlisted for the best Environmental Campaign is an important step in this journey.”
Other shortlisted companies are Tillymint Communications, also based in Stafford, which is a finalist in the Independent Practitioner and Healthcare and/or Wellbeing Campaign categories.
Edson Evers, another Stafford firm, is a finalist in three categories relating to work with customers Yale UK and Keylite Roof Windows and promoting The King’s Coronation jigsaw for Great British Jigsaws. The team is hoping for success in the Best Use of Media Relations, Integrated Campaign and Low Budget Campaign categories.
Meanwhile, Stoke-on-Trent’s Lesniak Swann is shortlisted for the Construction, Property or Infrastructure Campaign for work to rebuild business for construction machinery dealer Finning UK & Ireland. The company is also a contender for the Low Budget Campaign award for work with Polypipe Building Services to drive RMI project enquiries.
The winners of the CIPR PRide Midlands awards will be revealed at a ceremony in Birmingham on Friday, 17 November.
