The pair behind a popular bar chain have announced the opening date for their latest venture.

As reported by Daily Focus, Jack Hardy and Ian Orton, who own the Bloom bars, have taken on a unit next to their current venue on Piccadilly, in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, and have turned the former NORTH Kitchen + Bar into Hideaway Hanley

The café bar, which Jack hopes will help to bring more people back to the city centre’s cultural quarter, will open at 9am on Tuesday, 5 September.

It will serve breakfast, brunches and lunches and stay open until 10pm on Friday and Saturday nights to allow customers to enjoy cocktails, mocktails and craft beers.

Jack said: “We’ve had some great feedback about Hideaway Hanley and we’re really excited to be opening.

“Piccadilly is key to Hanley in terms of regeneration and if anything can bring people back to the cultural quarter, it is food and drink establishments like this.

“We hope people will enjoy the very relaxed, comfortable environment we have created.”

Hideaway Hanley has created around 10 jobs.

Customers keen to try out the new venue can take advantage of a free coffee during opening week by subscribing to a mailing list on its website.
