Accountants DJH Mitten Clarke branch out with acquisitions across the North

1 min read

The award-winning chartered accountancy firm DJH Mitten Clarke continues to expand.

The business, based at Festival Park in Stoke-on-Trent, has made three strategic acquisitions.

New partnerships with Huddersfield firm Revell Ward, Nantwich practice Lyon Griffiths and Haines Watt’s Altrincham office strengthen its presence in Yorkshire and the North-West.

DJH Mitten Clarke, listed as a Top 50 Accountancy Firm, already has a strong regional base.

Joining forces with the three businesses builds on the firm’s partnership with growth equity investor Tenzing and its acquisition of specialist dental accountants Minford Dental.

DJH Mitten Clarke was recently joined by Richard Crook as Mergers and Acquisitions Director.

Richard, who previously deployed his M&A skills in a healthcare setting, describes his role as helping plan and execute the acquisition strategy that allows the company to achieve its ambitious growth targets.

He said: “Joining forces with Revell Ward, Lyon Griffiths and Haines Watts Altrincham further strengthens our foothold in the North-West and Yorkshire.

“With offices already in Stoke, Manchester, Chester, Leeds, Sheffield and Walsall, the alignment of locations in Huddersfield, Nantwich and Altrincham extends our presence, ensuring clients across the region benefit from continued exceptional service.”

DJH Mitten Clarke was founded in 2021 with the merging of two of Stoke-on-Trent’s leading firms Mitten Clarke and DJH.

It has a multi-disciplinary team of more than 300 people and offers clients a full service of accounts, audit, tax, payroll, capital allowance, corporate finance and commercial funding.
