A community radio station is to launch a new feature showcasing North Staffordshire businesses.

Cross Rhythms City Radio will broadcast Business Spotlight from Monday 13 November.

Business owners from Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme will be interviewed in the studio at Cheapside, Hanley.

The aim is to raise local awareness and encourage support for both large firms and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises across the region.

Business Spotlight’s interviews will be conducted by Sonya Farrall, founder of PR company BabaBaboon which is partnering with Cross Rhythms in the initiative.

Business owners appearing on the show will be briefed beforehand by Sonya, with interviews being broadcast during primetime midweek shows, including breakfast and drive time.

The material will be available across frequencies 101.8FM and 96.6FM and online at www.crossrhythms.co.uk/radio.

Videos of the interviews will also be shared via the radio station’s social media channels and featured on BabaBaboon’s multiple channels.

Each guest will also have access to all of the content which will be shared for their own use.

Jonathan Bellamy, Cross Rhythms CEO, said: “As a community radio station we look for every opportunity to serve, support and profile the local community – which is something we’ve been doing for 20 years.

“With this brand-new Business Spotlight feature our aim is to raise local awareness and encourage loyalty to some of our region’s excellent businesses.”

Sonya Farrall said: “Cross Rhythms have amazing studios and I am so excited to welcome business owners from Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme, to join me on air for what will be fun, but also impactful, interviews to showcase everything they do in the region.”
