Currie Young saves 58 jobs through deal brokered for Midlands Shopify experts

Leading Staffordshire and West Midlands insolvency specialists Currie Young has helped to save 58 jobs after completing the sale of Shopify experts Eastside Co to its former management team.

The insolvency specialists stepped in following the demise of the Stratford-on-Avon based ecommerce business, brokering a pre-packaged sale.

Currie Young Director Justin Brown said “We are delighted that we have been able to find a deal to rescue the company and save 58 jobs. The company has been sold to ESC Ecom Limited, which is made up of Eastside Co’s former management team.

Founded in 2012, Eastside Co, worked with brands to plan, launch or grow Shopify business solutions. The pre-packaged sale is a seamless solution allowing this work to continue.
