Dee Set Group has announced that its Chief Operating Officer is to retire at the end of this year.
Rob Slaski has been with the Stoke-on-Trent-based retail solutions firm for the past five years and has over 40 years’ experience in the retail industry, including time spent at Asda.
During his time as Chief Operating Officer, Rob is said to have been instrumental in ensuring the seamless functioning of Dee Set and nurturing its teams to deliver outstanding performance and results.
Chief Executive Officer Greg Phillips said: “Rob has been an integral part of Dee Set’s success, and his impact will resonate for years to come.
“His dedication to excellence and leadership has set a high standard for our business. As we bid farewell to Rob, we are confident in the foundation he has laid for our continued success. We wish him a fulfilling and well-deserved retirement.”
Dee Set, in Fenton, employs over 4,000 people and works with some of the UK’s biggest brands and retailers across merchandising, fulfilment and big data analysis to help them sell more goods.
Rob intended a shorter tenure when he arrived at the company but extended his time with the business to navigate Dee Set through the complexities brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic and industry uncertainties.
