1 min read

Award-winning chartered accountancy firm DJH Mitten Clarke has made a sixth acquisition this year as the company continues with its expansion plans.

The business, based at Festival Park in Stoke-on-Trent, has acquired DTE Business Advisers the largest independent accountancy firm in Bury.

The latest partnership for the UK Top 50 accountancy group means it has 10 offices across the North-West, Midlands and Yorkshire.

Scott Heath, CEO of DJH Mitten Clarke, said: “Our partnership with DTE Business Advisers is yet another significant milestone in building our business through culturally aligned partnerships and our ongoing commitment to enhancing our business advice to the SME market.

“With offices in Manchester City Centre and Altrincham, DTE’s location at the heart of the Bury business community was a natural move and further strengthens our foothold in Greater Manchester.

“The collaboration will also see DTE’s dedicated corporate finance team support in the development of the Group’s transactional services, enhancing the support we offer.”

Directors Fiona O’Loughlin, George Lovell, Matt Beckley, Richard Bell, and Richard Taylor will continue to lead the Bury team.

Richard Taylor, Director at DTE Business Advisers, said: “The partnership is not just about expanding our services it’s also a commitment to the growth and wellbeing of our team.

“Through increased investment in training, development, recruitment, and wellbeing programmes, we aim to create the very best environment for our team to deliver an even more exceptional service to our clients.”

The news follows the announcements earlier in 2023 of Leeds’ Novis & Co, Nantwich’s Lyon Griffiths, Altrincham’s Haines Watts, Huddersfield’s Revell Ward, and specialist dental accountants, Minford Dental, joining the Group.
