The Coffee House is preparing to open in Hanley’s The Potteries Centre.

Co-founder Chris Shelmerdine said he is looking forward to providing shoppers with a “cosy respite” and “tasty pick-me-up”.

He added: “We are thrilled to open our new Hanley store and become part of the Potteries community.

“At The Coffee House, we are dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience by offering hand-roasted coffee, homemade food, and mouth-watering cakes and bakes.

“Our team has worked tirelessly to transform the vacant unit into a warm and inviting space for friends and families to unwind and indulge.

“We can’t wait to introduce our amazing team to our new customers and locals.”

Each of The Coffee House’s stores feature a signature interior design with exclusive wall murals that pay homage to each location.

The main feature on the walls of the Hanley store is a mural of the pavilion in Hanley Park. Other murals feature local and coffee industry facts.

The coffee shop also has a bespoke wooden counter, handmade by the father of the brothers who own the company.

Amy Whittaker, Centre Manager at The Potteries Centre, said: “Having seen the new contemporary store, we can honestly say we are thrilled to welcome The Coffee House to the centre.

“It brings with it a relaxed environment, commitment to customer service and a delicious range of refreshments to offer our visitors.

“The timing couldn’t be better with Christmas shopping well-underway and our Claus Cabin in situ, so it’s going to be especially welcomed and enjoyed at this busy time and as a relaxing haven for the community throughout the year.”

  • The Coffee House is open from 8.30am until 6pm Monday to Saturday and 10am until 4pm on Sundays.
