Businesses intrigued about what apprenticeships can offer but not sure about the next steps to take are being invited to a free support and networking event organised by Keele University.
Lunch and Learn about Apprenticeships will take place in a fortnight’s time on Wednesday, 7 February between 12 and 2pm at Keele’s Think Lab in the Denise Coates Building.
It will form part of the University’s National Apprenticeship Week 2024 celebrations and give people the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and employers.
The session will be hosted by Christopher Midgley, Apprentice Lead for Keele Business School, and there will also be the opportunity to hear from the event’s VIP speaker – Keele apprentice Gill-Hayes Bell, who is Senior Director of Patient Science at Astra Zeneca – while enjoying lunch at the same time.
Lauren Cookson, Keele’s Apprenticeships Marketing and Communications Manager, said: “Organisations may well have heard of apprenticeships but are unsure about the next steps to take, so we are here to help and support.
“We offer a variety of apprenticeships over several sectors and our apprenticeship provision was rated Good by Ofsted in our last full inspection in June 2023.
“So, this event is a great opportunity to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week with us, find out more information and network over lunch.”
Limited places are available, so anyone interested is urged to register now!
