A digital forensics firm is celebrating a landmark year and embarking on a major recruitment drive after securing eight new contracts with a projected value of over £11 million.
SYTECH, based in Stoke-on-Trent, has won a series of tenders for public sector bodies including four separate police forces, Police Digital Services (PDS), Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), and the Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquacultural Science (Cefas).
The consultancy service specialist will provide a comprehensive service to secure, recover and evaluate digital evidence for criminal, civil or corporate investigations, covering all aspects of computer forensics, mobile phone forensics and geo-location analysis, including expert witness provision and evidential presentations.
SYTECH’s team of analysts will work closely with other organisations to provide subject matter expertise for differing projects, including the generation of Ground Truth Data (GTD) and the validation of methods and tools.
And SYTECH has also been enlisted by Cefas to deliver consultancy, and on-the-ground training support services for ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Standards to multiple entities in Belize.
Following its success in securing public service contracts, the company has added bid writing support services to its list of existing consultancy offerings.
Now, to facilitate its growth, the firm is seeking to grow its 70-strong workforce by at least 30 per cent over the next 12 months.
Managing Director Daren Greener, pictured above, said: “We are extremely proud to have secured significant expansion of our contract portfolio with a record number of new public sector contracts over the past 12 months, a testament to our commitment to provide an attentive and amenable service delivery.
“These contracts also endorse the tremendous work and previous achievements of all our staff, which is reflected in high levels of customer satisfaction and service assurance. Our historic record in these areas, together with evident continuous improvement, have been key factors to these latest contract awards.
“As the business continues to expand and diversify, we are thrilled to offer significant job opportunities, creating high-aspirational careers and improving social mobility in our workforce areas and further across the UK through our social activities, which themselves are aimed at improving employability.”
SYTECH is looking for experienced analysts, entry-level technicians and administrative staff, and is interested in speaking with IT professionals, data analysts or former police officers keen to migrate into digital forensics and cyber services.
