The Stoke-on-Trent based trade association for bathroom manufacturers has scooped a prestigious national award.
The Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) triumphed at the 2024 Trade Association Forum (TAF) Awards where it clinched the Association Team of the Year Award.
Held annually and supported by the Department for Business and Trade, the TAF Awards recognise excellence, innovation, and best practices among trade associations across the UK.
It’s the second recent accolade for the Association, coming hard on the heels of its success at the 2023 TAF Awards, where it secured the ESG Initiative of the Year award.
This year’s ceremony was held at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
The recognition for the BMA underscores its commitment to advancing the interests of its members and promoting excellence within the bathroom manufacturing sector.
“We are truly honoured to have won this outstanding award,” remarked Tom Reynolds, Chief Executive. “It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of my fabulous team, including Amy Kirk, Andrew McLean, Sandra Cliff, Lisa Carnwell, and Jane Blakeborough.
“Because our team is streamlined, each individual has to work effectively to deliver member engagement and satisfaction. I couldn’t be prouder.”
Emily Wallace, Chief Executive of the Trade Association Forum and one of the head judges on the panel, said: “The BMA is an excellent example of how to build an effective and high-performing team whilst working remotely.
“The judges were impressed by the combined impact of the team and how they work together to deliver exceptional results for members.”
