A North Staffordshire recruitment agency has forged a partnership with Newcastle-under-Lyme College to support its T Levels programme.
Recruitment Robin, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, will work with NSCG to help pave the way for the workforce of the future by providing valuable opportunities for T-Level students to gain real-world experience and kickstart their careers.
T-Levels are technical qualifications designed to give students the skills and knowledge needed to excel in a specific industry and are the equivalent of 3 A Levels.
Courses combine classroom learning with hands-on experience, ensuring students are well-prepared for the demands of the workplace upon completion of their studies.
“We are thrilled to partner with Newcastle Under Lyme College’s T-Level programme,” said Selina Rudzik, Managing Director of Recruitment Robin.
“T-Level students bring a fresh perspective and a strong desire to learn. They are an invaluable asset to any team, and we are proud to support them as they embark on their academic and career journey.”
One such T-Level student making waves at Recruitment Robin is Millie, who has quickly become an integral part of the team.
“Working at Recruitment Robin has been an incredible experience,” said Millie. “I’ve had the opportunity to work on exciting projects, learn from experienced professionals, and develop new skills like administration making presentations at a local business networking group and creating visuals for social media using graphic design software.
“I’m grateful for the support and guidance I’ve received from Selina, and I’m excited to see where this opportunity takes me in the future.”
Meryl Finney, NSCG T Level Manager said: “T-Level students are highly motivated, eager to learn and developing skills needed to thrive in today’s workplace across a variety of roles and industries.
“Partnering with businesses like Recruitment Robin allows our students to gain practical experience and opens doors to exciting career opportunities for their future progression.”
NSCG is hosting two insights events to talk to employers about the benefits of offering extended work placements. The first is on Tuesday 23 April at Newcastle-under-Lyme College and the second at the Stafford Campus on Monday 29 April.
