Spring Clean your career: Keele University Apprenticeship Webinars will point the way to enhancing business success.

1 min read

Keele University is reaching out to business leaders and company employees looking to Spring Clean their careers.

The University is launching a series of free Spring Apprenticeship Webinars to let people know about their wide-ranging apprenticeship offer, encompassing various programmes and sectors.

The online sessions will take place over two weeks at the end of April and early May.

The Spring Apprenticeship Webinars will be an informal session with a Q and A. The online events offer the opportunity to find out more detail about the benefits of apprenticeships for individuals and organisations.

People who do decide to enrol on an apprenticeship programme will be able to “earn while they learn,” and each course leads to a recognised qualification – ranging from entry level Foundation Degrees to a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA).

After completing an apprenticeship, individuals are then able to embed the knowledge, skills and behaviours they have accrued into their organisation.

The webinars will be hosted over a two-week period, with the Programme Lead delivering a presentation outlining the academic content of the apprenticeship. A member of the University’s Apprenticeship team will also be in attendance to explain the ins and outs for getting started.

Lauren Cookson, Apprenticeships Marketing and Communications Manager, said: “Apprenticeships give employers the chance to invest in their staff so they can attain a recognised qualification and subsequently develop their skills, benefiting the organisation.”

“Employees who might not have had the chance to get a degree or other qualification will be able to acquire this alongside working, enhancing the business by bringing this learning back to the workplace.”

The Spring Apprenticeship Webinars are as follows:

22/04/24 – 13:00-14:00 – Undergraduate Nursing
23/04/24 – 13:00-14:00 – Research Scientist
