Barkers Engineering named finalists in International Trade Category at Staffordshire Chambers’ Business Awards

Barkers Engineering, a leading provider of steel security fencing solutions, has been selected as a finalist for the International Trade category of the Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards. This category is proudly sponsored by The Staffordshire International Trade Centre.

The nomination recognises Barkers’ outstanding achievements in expanding its global presence and delivering innovative security solutions to clients worldwide, with export sales surging from £641k to £6.1 million.

Barkers has evolved from supporting the coal industry to becoming the premier manufacturer of steel security fencing in the UK. Its success in international trade is supported by its high-security and Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) products, which are sought after by high-profile clients globally.

The company have also focussed on the data centre market to grow sales, with their products now deployed across Europe, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

Their meticulous attention to detail in manufacturing, coupled with a customer-centric approach, has earned them a stellar reputation among clients globally.

The winner of the International Trade Award will be announced at the highly anticipated Gala Awards evening, taking place on Thursday, 4 July at the Doubletree by Hilton, Festival Park.
