Hygan Products, a pioneering exporter of high-quality sponges, has been announced as a finalist for the International Trade category in the Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards.

The nomination recognises its decades-long commitment to exporting excellence and driving innovation in the global market. This category is proudly sponsored by The Staffordshire International Trade Centre.

Since the early 1990s, Hygan has been at the forefront of international trade, successfully penetrating over 70 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.

Its success in exporting is underpinned by its proactive approach to market expansion, product diversification and strengthening existing relationships.

Their portfolio includes their unique range of specially shaped synthetic sponges on wooden sticks, or “diddlers” as they’re known in the industry, which are manufactured on site in Stoke.

Hygan also specialises in producing bespoke sponge products in accordance with customers’ ideas and designs.

The winner of the International Trade Award will be announced at the highly anticipated Gala Awards evening, taking place on Thursday, 4 July at the Doubletree by Hilton, Festival Park.
