With a rich heritage spanning nearly 150 years, JG Fenn has evolved from a printing company to become the multifaceted business it is today.
Their commitment to their employees is a cornerstone of their success. In 2022 they implemented robust training programmes for their staff and introduced well-being initiatives like walking challenges and regular appreciation events.
They have implemented numerous green initiatives, including tree planting days with customers, using Woodland Trust paper, and reducing single-use plastics. Their new office, opened in 2022, features solar panels and LED lighting, and they are currently striving to achieve gold accreditation under the Weaver programme, which focuses on carbon footprint reduction, waste management, and social responsibility.
Through their Fenn Foundation, they support social mobility in Stoke-on-Trent, by offering on going support to local organisations like Douglas Macmillan Hospice and Stoke City FC Community Trust. Staff members are also encouraged to volunteer, helping disadvantaged children and participating in community initiatives.
The winner of the award will be announced at the highly-anticipated Gala Awards evening, taking place on Thursday, 4 July at the Doubletree by Hilton, Festival Park.
