Stone Group has been selected as a finalist in the Responsible Business category of the prestigious Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards.

Sponsored by Rydale Roofing, this category highlights businesses that exemplify outstanding commitment to sustainable and ethical practices.

For over thirty years, Stone Group has been at the forefront of providing circular IT solutions to a diverse range of organisations, from local NHS trusts and schools to global enterprises and government departments.

Stone Group has made significant strides in reducing its environmental impact. They have replaced all non-cardboard packaging with compostable alternatives and increased the use of recycled plastics in their products.

In 2022, they developed the Stone 360 app, allowing customers to streamline recycling processes, which, alongside other initiatives has generated over £347 million of social value through their environmentally and socially conscious operations.

In 2023, their employees dedicated 471 hours to volunteering, raising significant funds for charities such as Katharine House Hospice and Shelter. They also contribute to local food banks and environmental initiatives, planting over 20,000 trees in partnership with Ecologi and engaging in various community projects.

The winner of the award will be announced at the highly-anticipated Gala Awards evening, taking place on Thursday, 4 July at the Doubletree by Hilton, Festival Park.
