South Staffordshire College has been rated as “GOOD” in the latest Ofsted inspection.
The rating acknowledges the hard work, dedication and excellence demonstrated by the entire college community.
In their findings Ofsted highlighted the fact that “learners and apprentices are positive about the education and training they receive.”
The inspecting body also commented how “learners and apprentices develop substantial new knowledge, skills and behaviours”.
Assessors noted that “staff are proud to work at the college and take pride in the support and training they provide for learners”.
Principal and Chief Executive Claire Boliver said: “We are incredibly proud of our entire college community.
“Our staff’s relentless effort to create an engaging and nurturing educational setting is truly commendable.
“Their innovative teaching approaches and dedication ensure that our learners receive the best possible education and are well-prepared for their future careers.”
The GOOD rating covers all areas across the Ofsted framework including the college’s apprenticeship provision.
The recognition reflects the high-quality education and training on offer, highlighting the commitment to excellence in teaching, support, and outcomes for apprentices.
Additionally, it underpins dedication to working collaboratively with local employers.
