Access specialist in takeover deal

A Stoke-on-Trent-based access solutions specialist has been acquired by a risk management firm. 

UbiQ Group has joined BES Group in a deal aimed to further enhance the Warrington-based firm’s suite of end-to-end risk management solutions. 

The UbiQ team of around 20 people provide their customers with access solutions such as confined space and rope access to support with specialist safety services such as highway structure inspections, mast and tower inspections and railway structure examinations. 

The group now sits within BES Group’s Infrastructure Division alongside others who have been acquired in recent years.
