The East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire Business Awards returned to the Pirelli Stadium last night, celebrating the achievements of local businesses during the last 12 months and beyond.

A sold-out room of over 300 guests gathered to raise a glass to a total of 11 category winners, at what is the biggest annual business awards celebration in the region.

Outdoor educational resource specialists Cosy Direct took home the prestigious ‘Business of the Year’ award after demonstrating exceptional levels of growth, innovation and sustainability.

A full list of category winners for the East Staffordshire and South Derbyshire Business Awards are as follows:

Business of the Year and Employer of the Year – Cosy Direct

Rising Star Award – Sam Moffoot, Malone Group

Most Promising Start-up Business – Pro-Tech MOT & Automotive Academy

Small Business of the Year – Bambinos and Beyond

Medium Business of the Year – The VCTC

Best Customer Service – Swadlincote Electrical Supplies

Manufacturer of the Year – Kit Buildings Direct

Best Use of Innovation or Technology – Medical, Health and Education

Leisure, Hospitality and Retail Award – Fight Station Kickboxing
