Supplier special free brunch takes place next week

Businesses have been invited to a free brunch event aimed at linking buyers and suppliers. 

The Big Buyers Brunch: A Stoke-on-Trent Supplier Special is aimed at suppliers and sub-contractors based in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. 

Speakers will include Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s Chief Executive Jon Rouse, who will give an update on the local authority’s plan for the city’s regeneration, and representatives from Capital&Centric and Indurent

Buyers from firms including Willmott Dixon, Galliford Try and Inside Ltd will also be in attendance. 

The event is being hosted by Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Growth Hub, FinditinStokeandStaffs and Staffordshire County Council in partnership with the city council. 

It takes place at the city council’s Jubilee Hall from 9.30am on Wednesday, 27 November.

Growth Hub Manager Rachel Wood, pictured above, who will also be speaking at the event, said: “We are delighted to be bringing this special event to Stoke-on-Trent thanks to the hard work and collaboration of our team and our partners. 

“It is the second in our series of planned Meet the Buyer events, offering businesses the chance to hear the latest regeneration news, meet building contractors working in the area and talk about the supplier opportunities available to them, as well as making new connections and enjoying a free brunch.”
