Businesses are being encouraged to help push for highways improvements to the A50/A500 corridor in North Staffordshire.
Sub-regional transport body Midlands Connect wants to build a strong case for the government to invest in proposals for improvements, with the hope of transforming the A50/A500 east-west corridor into one of the primary locations for sustainable growth and investment in the UK.
A spokesperson said: “The A50 is a critical east-west route that plays a vital role in the movement of goods and services across our region but is often at capacity and subject to delays.
“Midlands Connect want to hear from businesses in Staffordshire to hear how a stronger A50/A500 would support your operations.
“The views of local businesses will be essential in strengthening the business case for these essential highways upgrades.”
