An accountancy group headquartered in Stoke-on-Trent enlisted staff from across the country to help raise more than £20,000 for a cancer charity.
Forty-three individuals from DJH and their partners Wealth Experts took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, tacking three summits in a 24.5-mile hike with a total ascent of 5,200ft in under 12 hours.
Their fundraising efforts totalled £20,140 for Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity voted for by the team at their annual away day and one close to many of their hearts.
A group-wide bake off sale at each of the firm’s 11 offices also contributed towards the amount raised.
Chief Operations Officer James Beardmore said: “Completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in our target time and raising over £20,000 for such a meaningful cause is an incredible accomplishment.
“This challenge demonstrated the power of our values – honesty, ambition, teamwork, passion, and community – and showed what we can achieve when we come together.”
DJH is based at Festival Park, in Etruria, and has offices across the Midlands, North West and Yorkshire.
