Fifty jobs are up for grabs at a debt collection company.
Advantis, based in Stoke-on-Trent, has created the jobs at its call centre as the firm continues to expand following the successful acquisition of new clients.
The company currently employs 250 people at its base in the Minton Hollins building, in Stoke, and has opportunities across various departments.
The jobs are being advertised in a partnership between the company and Xpert Recruitment Solutions, which is also based in the city.
Operations Director Sean Gallacher said: “We are looking to recruit call handlers to join our team here at Stoke. We believe we have created a positive work environment, and the company won accreditation as a Great Place to Work following a comprehensive assessment of workplace culture involving a confidential survey of our staff.
“We offer full training and there are good career prospects. Several members of our current management team won promotion after joining as a call handler and we offer a professional development programme to bring forward our future leaders.
“XPert Recruitment work as a trusted part of our team. Through them we ensure people are expertly prepared for job interviews and have a good understanding of our company.”
Lindsay Mitchell, Managing Director at Fenton-based Xpert said: “Advantis is looking for 50 recruits between March and May. These are excellent jobs with access to training and a chance for promotion via the company’s leadership development programme.
“At Xpert, we have worked in partnership with Advantis for almost a decade. Before putting candidates forward, we will work with them to ensure they are interview ready.”
Advantis clients include government agencies and household names such as BT and United Utilities.
Key attributes required for new recruits are ‘enthusiasm, positivity, and willingness to work as part of a team’.
