Local Skills Improvement Plan survey to identify skills gaps

1 min read

Businesses are being encouraged to complete a new survey aimed at identifying skills gaps.

Launched by the Skills Hub, an advocate for workforce development in Staffordshire, the survey aims to collect insights from businesses to understand their challenges in workforce development and skills acquisition.

Responses will help to influence the development of training programmes in local colleges and universities that can be tailored to meet their needs.

Suzanne Quinn, Project Manager at the Skills Hub, said: “Understanding the skills gaps faced by businesses is crucial to creating targeted solutions.

“This survey is more than just data collection – it’s a chance to collaborate with local businesses and provide practical support that drives growth and innovation.”

The survey can be completed online and can be accessed here.

It closes on 31 March.
