New food and drink guide showcases South Staffordshire culinary scene

1 min read

A new food and drink guide has been launched to showcase South Staffordshire’s culinary scene.

Developed by Eccleshall-based design agency Outlands Creative and funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the South Staffordshire Good Food and Drink Guide highlights a range of venues, providing businesses with an opportunity to promote their dining experiences to a wider audience.

Every hospitality business across the district was invited to take part, and every venue featured has a food hygiene rating of 4 or above.

The guide aims to encourage residents and visitors to explore the area’s food and drink offerings. It features a variety of establishments, offering everything from traditional British dishes to international cuisine, in five categories – cafes, family-friendly venues, restaurants, pubs and independent bars.

Among the venues featured are Medicine Kitchen and Bakery in Codsall, the 1911 Cafe in Essington, Play@Lower Drayton Farm in Penkridge, Cucina Unica in Great Wyrley, The Lesters Arms in Brewood and The Bay Tree in Kinver.

A roast dinner served at The Lesters Arms, which is featured in the guide.
