The UK’s largest business water retailer has made a multi-million-pound investment into new Stoke-on-Trent headquarters.

Water Plus has moved to an office at Trentham Lakes a few miles away from its previous base at Riverside Park, in Stoke.

The new headquarters brings all the Water Plus teams under one roof, which the company has said is enhancing internal collaboration and improving the customer experience.

The move is also expected to further strengthen relationships with businesses and public sector customers.

It comes as Water Plus celebrates receiving a national award for customer service – its 21st accolade in just 16 months.

Chief Executive Jason Scagell said: “Our new office site is much more than just a headquarters – it provides a great space for collaboration, allowing us to work more effectively together and deliver even greater benefits and experiences for our customers.

“We are proud of the significant water savings we have already achieved, with savings of 37 per cent and higher found on some of our customers’ estimated water use, in the last year – and we look forward to continuing to help businesses reduce running costs through smarter water and energy management.

“It’s a new and exciting phase for our business and sees a long-term commitment to Stoke-on-Trent, maintaining our presence in the city – since we established our headquarters here in 2016.”

Water Plus expects to create a number of new jobs in the coming months as it continues to expand.

The company was a finalist – and the only water retailer – in three categories of the UK Customer Service Satisfaction Awards 2025, run by the Institute of Customer Service.

Water Plus was announced as the winner of the Sustainable Customer Service Award earlier this month and the award is the firm’s second UK Customer Satisfaction Award in two years.

Jason added: “It’s great our teams’ efforts, continually pushing forward developments for customers to enhance the services we provide, have been recognised.

“This award is also due to our approach as a trusted business water partner with a strong track record of results.”
