Businesses are set to receive an insight into the trading opportunities in Dubai and the wider Arab League region at a unique international trade event.

Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce has launched ‘Dubai Day,’ a half-day session aimed at helping local businesses to access new markets in and explore opportunities for growth in one of the world’s most dynamic trade hubs.

Taking place on Wednesday, 7 May at Commerce, attendees will hear from expert speakers with real-world experience, including Mashary Osman, a global sourcing and supply chain consultant, and Abdeslam El-Idrissi, Deputy CEO and Secretary General of the Arab British Chamber of Commerce.

Allison Tomlinson, Head of International Trade at Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “This event represents a brilliant opportunity for local businesses to gain an insight into key topics such as trade facilitation, sourcing strategies, freight logistics, and securing the best commercial deals.

“Whether you are new to international trade or already active in global markets, this your chance to gain valuable knowledge and contacts to help move forward.”

A representative from the Department for Business and Trade will also join the panel.

The morning concludes with an open Q&A session, followed by a networking lunch.

The event is free for Chamber members and £20 plus VAT for non-members. Spaces are limited, so early booking is advised.
