Daily Focus readers are being given the chance to go behind the scenes of Staffordshire’s biggest business news publication at an exclusive event.
Daily Focus – Off the Record will take place at the headquarters of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, on Wednesday, 18 June.
The breakfast networking session will give guests an insight into the Daily Focus editorial process, explaining how stories are sourced, shared and seen by thousands of local readers.
The Daily Focus editorial team will also share top tips on how to write a press release that gets noticed.
Daily Focus launched in late 2022 as a joint venture between Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce and Stoke-based award-winning creative agency i-creation, whose team of journalists help to make the content.
It has quickly grown to have a reputation as the largest and most respected B2B news service in Staffordshire.
The event, which features a complimentary breakfast, will lift the lid on some of the most-read Daily Focus stories of all time and will hear from local businesses who’ve used the platform to seriously improve their local profile and generate business leads.
Rachel Laver, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce CEO, said: “We’re proud to support this exciting opportunity for our business community to go behind the scenes of one of Staffordshire’s most influential news platforms.
“Daily Focus has become a powerful tool for raising the profile of local businesses, and this event offers valuable insight into how organisations can make their voices heard.
“We hope to see as many of you there as possible!”
Hayley Johnson, Daily Focus Editor and i-creation Senior Journalist, added: “Daily Focus received a fantastic response from the Staffordshire business community right from the start and has continued to be a great success.
“We endeavour to be constructive, challenging where necessary, and a champion of our local area and are pleased to be regarded as the county’s go-to business news service as well as the main platform for helping to get Staffordshire businesses noticed.
“We look forward to welcoming readers to this special event and building on the great relationship we have with the local business community.”
Daily Focus – Off the Record takes place at Commerce House, at Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent, between 9am and 12pm on 18 June.
As well as a free breakfast and an insight into Daily Focus, guests will also have chance to do their own networking.
