The co-founder of a compliance specialist has been promoted to the role of managing director after eight years.
Danielle Bayliss, Operations Director at Legionella and Fire Safe Services, will take up the new position as Steve Morris transitions to focus on commercial growth as Chief Commercial Director.
Danielle, who says she is ‘incredibly proud’ to step into the new role, helped to start the Lichfield-based business up in 2017, having transitioned from journalism to construction, following in her father’s footsteps.
She said: “Since co-founding the business with Steve Morris, Steve Broughton and Caroline Bigg in 2017, I’ve been passionate about building a company that prioritises people, compliance, and exceptional service.
“As a young director and a woman in the construction industry, I know the importance of challenging stereotypes and leading by example.”
Steve described Danielle as an ‘integral part’ of the company.
He said: “The success of Legionella and Fire Safe Services is predominately down to Danielle’s relentless drive and passion for what we do.
“We are absolutely delighted to announce her promotion to Managing Director. This achievement is a well-deserved recognition of her hard work, and we are excited to see how, under her continued leadership, the company will thrive even further.”
Legionella and Fire Safe Services delivers a range of water hygiene and fire safety critical building compliance services on a planned and periodic basis and has won a number of awards and achieved multiple industry accreditations over the years.
