Burton upon Trent-based IT Helpdesk Ltd has teamed up with SARAC (Sexual Abuse Rape Advice Centre) to support survivors of sexual abuse and violence across the local area.

The new partnership, launched in collaboration with the Burton & District Chamber of Commerce, aims to raise awareness, boost community resilience and encourage other local businesses to get involved.

Imran Ahmed, Commercial Manager of IT Helpdesk Ltd, said: “As SARAC’s mission aligns closely with our values, we’re incredibly proud to be working together on this meaningful project.

“Community support goes beyond technology – it’s about creating a safer, more compassionate environment for everyone.”

The Burton-based charity provides free and confidential counselling to people of all genders and backgrounds aged 11 and over.

Caroline Fotheringham, Interim Chief Executive of SARAC, said: “Partnerships like this are invaluable. They help us extend our support network and build a stronger, more resilient community. We’re excited to see what this collaboration will bring.”

The initiative will include awareness campaigns, fundraising and digital support to help extend SARAC’s reach.
