Staff at JCB are making final preparations ahead of welcoming some of the world’s best golfers to an international renowned event being held in Staffordshire this weekend.
LIV Golf UK by JCB is being staged at the JCB Golf and Country Club with a record crowd of more than 40,000 fans expected to walk the fairways of the prestigious private course in Rocester.
A total of 54 golfers will compete for the UK title of the 14-leg global team tournament being held over three days from Friday 25 July until Sunday 27 July.
Those due to appear include last year’s winner, Spain’s Jon Rahm, along with the USA’s Bryson DeChambeau and multiple Major champion Phil Mickelson.
In addition, visitors on Saturday July 26th will be treated to an unforgettable post-round entertainment and DJ line-up headlined by global music sensation Kygo.
JCB Golf and Country Club Director Lloyd Bailey said: “Last year’s LIV Golf UK by JCB tournament was our most successful event yet, with 37,500 golf fans from all across the UK and beyond seizing the opportunity to experience the mystique of one of the UK’s most spectacular private courses. We expect this year to be even bigger and better.
“This is a really special course and we have a team of more than 40 staff who have meticulously prepared every aspect to international standards over the last 12 months – including the challenging island green 17th hole and the exciting new addition in 2025, the Family Fairway on the fifth hole.
“We are incredibly proud that visitors will get to experience the course alongside a live global TV audience of up to 850 million households through Fox Sports and ITVX. The tournament really shines the spotlight not just on JCB but on the entire community – especially with the local tourism economy seeing a massive boost.”
A limited number of day tickets for each of the three days are still available, with under 12s admitted free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.
Ticket prices are from £40 per person per day, with Saturday’s including the post round concert.
